Kevin is rapidly developing a “signature style” in the use of vibrant color applied in impressionist strokes leaving details to the imagination of the viewer, providing aesthetically composed images of relatable subjects rousing emotion, and presenting energy in the movement. He follows the rule of Impressionism by blurring lines and boundaries, and then, he steps outside the box creating “hard edges” in some areas, pulling the viewer into the work.
